يقول ابن جني في احد نصوصه انه قد ذهب بعضهم الى ان اصل اللغات كلها انما هو من الاصوات المسموعة كدوي الريح و هزيم الرعد و خرير الماء و نهيق الحمار و نعيق الغراب و صهيل الفرس و نزيب الظبي و غيرها من الامثلة ثم ولدت اللغات عن ذلك فيما بعد و هذا النص متعلق بأحدى النظريات المعروفة في نشأة اللغة و هي نظرية المحاكاة التي تقول ان اللغة محاكاة لأصوات الطبيعة ، و لم يسبق ابن جني أحدا الى ذكر هذه المقولة و أضاف الى هذا أنه ركز القواعد التأسيسية لهذه النظرية في تراثنا العربي ،فقلبها على أوجهها الممكنة، و جعل للمحاكاة مراتب اربع أهمها المحاكاة الصوتية اي تسمية الاشياء بأصواتها و هو أمر غير قابل للتأويل. و بحثنا يتناول هذه الظاهرة اللغوية و انعكاسها على الادب الأمريكي اللاتيني فقد استخدم الكاتب فارغاس يوسا و هو من أصل بيروني في كتابه (الجراء) هذه الظاهرة اللغوية و بكثافة لاسيما في الفصل الاول من روايته فشكلت الاصوات المقلدة للطبيعة جزءا لا يتجزأ من الحوارات التي دارت بين الابطال الصغار على اساس ان عالمهم متمثل بالأصوات اكثر من العناصر المادية التي تشغل الكبار ثم ينتقل الكاتب بشخصياته الى عمر البلوغ تدريجيا حيث يقل فيه استخدام الاصوات المحاكية للطبيعة. يتضمن البحث ثلاث فصول: الفصل الأول تتحدث عن ظاهرة محاكاة أصوات الطبيعة أصولها وتاثيراتها على الأدب الاسباني عامة. الفصل الثاني يتناول في عنوانه الأول حياة و أعمال الكاتب البيروني فارغاس يوسا و في عنوانه الثاني استعرضنا رواية (الجراء) موضوعا وأسلوبا من جانب و من الناحية اللغوية من جانب اخر. و في الفصل الثالث قمنا بتحليل الرواية من زاوية الاصوات المحاكية للطبيعة بالأضافة الى الخاتمة.
