يشترك الوسيط السينماتوغرافي في وسيلتي السينما والتلفزيون بمجموعة من العناصر تكمل احداهما الأخرى في ظل التطورات الحاصلة في مختلف العلوم والثقافة والفنون لغرض إيصال المعنى الى المتفرج وتحقيق الذائقة الجمالية ، وعلى الرغم من تنوع وسائط العرض السينماتوغرافية مع تعدد اشكاله تبرز مجموعة من الاساسيات لخلق التوظيف الإبداعي لعناصر اللغة السينمائية ومنها عنصر المكان وقد انطلق الباحث من مبدأ التعريف والاطلاع على ظاهرة فنية برزت في الوسيط السينماتوغرافي عبر معالجة الاحداث الدرامية من خلال حلول اخراجية تعتمد خط سرد الاحداث في مكان واحد يسهم في جذب اهتمام المتفرج وبما ان هذه الظاهرة مثيرة للاهتمام في الوسيط ، .فان هناك سؤالا يطرح نفسه باعتماد تلك الرؤية والدور الذي يضطلع به عنصر المكان والمعالجات بواسطة تقنيات الحلول الإخراجية له
