عُني البحث الحالي بتقصي مفهوم التوليف في الخزف بين التراث والمعاصر،فدرس ماهية التوليف بوصفه مفهوماً يحقق الابتكار الفني والجمالي وجاءت الدراسة في أربعة محاور. إذ تضمن المحور الأول الإطار العام للبحث والمتضمن المشكلة التي تتمثل بالسؤال الآتي:هل يشكل مفهوم التوليف دوراً في إثراء المنجز الخزفي المعاصر ؟ فيما تكمن أهمية البحث والحاجة إليه في عدها دراسة تقدم إضافة معرفية في مجال الفنون المعاصرة ولاسيما مفهوم التوليف وتأثيره في المنجز الخزفي المعاصر.
